From the Vally

AMAZING thrift store couples:

I went to Lipi's this morning and took photographs of items she wants to sell.  So much stuff.  We had a good convo about my family and she praised me saying that I was so cute and look 'london not american.'  I said her scrambled eggs were much better than my fathers.  Fun times.  Here are several highlights in her 'to sell' pile:

Snow Day

I've probably had more snow days in College than High School, this is strange. This morning Suzanne informed me at 6:30 am that school was canceled I'm pretty sure she just got back from the studio. I got out of bed at 11:30. I spend 15 minutes removing four and a half inches of powder from my car. Foolishly went to school to get some work done while no one would be there to distract. Meaning I ran into Emily and talked for an hour. (She is far more diligent that I having arrived at 8:30) After three hours freezing rain started so I decided to go home. Spent another 15 minutes removing ice with the help of sweet Emily. Long drive home. Another snow day tomorrow?

I am making iceburg drawings. I'm trying my hardest to stop sucking and make stuff. So far this is my only goal for the new semester I've kept. Run? It's cold. Spend less? I've been working so hard I deserve rewards. Staying at school forever and being a waste is what I'm best at. Pics when I do something worth while. Perhaps I should start those drawings.

blah

This is the third day in a row that our water has been screwed up.  Yesterday I took a shower under a cold drizzle, then a water main broke in our apartment.  The day before the water was off for several inconvenient hours while a water main on the first floor was being repaired.  Today, no water. None whatsoever.  I'm not good at going without showering.  Let alone a simple face wash.  As luck should have it thursday is the only day that I have to be out all day.  I should skip sound sculpture as it is a general waste.  Should have stuck with Junior Seminar.

Hot Yoga

Last night I attend my very first yoga class with May.  We went to Community Hot Yoga (only $6 a class) which is a 90 min class where the room is heated to around 100 degrees.  I've never sweat so much in my life.  I really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back with her.  I keep trying to get into exercise and fitness regimens perhaps I'm Madonna and have finally found my path.  Suzanne was swamped with school work and did not attend.  She has to go next time and like it so we can be women together.

In other news I bought plane tickets to go home for Thanksgiving.  I'm still a little disappointed that Tricia is going home so we won't be able to attend the Macy's parade.  It's a strange time to go home, when I come back I'll have less than a month left in Balty.  I'm starting to get sad.  I really like it here and I'm going to miss lots of stuff once I get back: May, Joy, One day a week classes, so many restaurants, cuteness, stupid MICA kids, Soup's On.  I need to crack down and go everywhere I haven't been yet, there are so many museums I've yet to make my way to.  Not that I'm not missing things in Cincy: like my apartment, car, network tv, functional internet, friends, 5 hrs. closer to Nick.  It's nice having friends in Baltimore now.  If I want to visit I know there are people who would be glad to have me.

Did you know my room overlooks the cemetery where John Wilkes Booth is buried?
